Challenge

Laureus Sport does some fantastic charity work in sport with the support of some of the world’s most respected brands including Mont Blanc, Allianz, Mercedes-Benz, IWC Schaffhausen and MUFG amongst others. They needed an obvious and compelling way for people to engage and support their efforts to promote the power of sport to change lives at the Laureus World Sports Awards.

Insight

Sport is the world’s universal language and sneakers are a universal visual queue for sporting activity.

Idea

#SneakersForGood - By getting some of the world’s most famous athletes to wear sneakers on the red carpet at the Laureus Awards, we hoped this trend would spark interest and act as an accessible touchpoint to encourage people to wear and donate their #SneakersForGood too.
